General Steps to determine the IQR & SIQR from a Cumulative Frequency Curve
Step 1: Draw a Cumulative Frequency Curve
Step 2: Find the position of the Lower Quartile using the formula - n / 4
Step 3: Draw Across the Cumulative Frequency Curve to determine the Lower Quartile (Q1)
Step 4: Find the position of the Upper Quartile using the formula - 3n/ 4
Step 5: Draw Across the Cumulative Frequency Curve to determine the Upper Quartile (Q3)
Step 6: Inter Quartile Range (I.Q.R) = Q3 - Q1
Step 7: Semi Inter Quartile Range (S.I.Q.R) = (Q3 - Q1) / 2 or I.Q.R / 2
